About S.S.S.
Singer-Songwriter Society(SSS) was founded in March of 2009, due to a lack of music organizations created by students for students on the University of Florida campus. This group is not to be confused with a choir or a singing group. It is, actually, a union where singing groups and individual singers as well as musicians and songwriters at UF can come together and elevate musically. SSS takes music to the next level. This is why in order to be apart of this group there will be an audition process. This union will be made up of artists that perform in the genres of: Pop, R&B, Gospel, Rock, Reggae, Country, etc.Singer Strand
Purpose: To unite the talented singers of UF and assist them in: rehearsing, performing, learning new vocal techniques, and getting advice from successful singers.
Songwriter Strand
Purpose: To unite songwriters of UF and assist them in: perfecting their songs, collaborating with others songwriters, assisting them in finding singers and producers to create demos for their songs, and getting advice from successful songwriters.
Musician Strand
Purpose: To unite musicians of UF and give them exposure by: accompanying singers and songwriters, creating their own music and beats, and getting advice from succesful musicians and producers.

S.S.S.'s Mission
Singer-Songwriter Society(S.S.S.) will work to unite talented singers, songwriters, and musicians on the UF campus. Singers, songwriters, and musicians will come together and inspire the community and campus through music. S.S.S. will work to host productions and showcases that will give our members a chance to build their performance skills. As well as performing, S.S.S. will also be involved in community service projects. Members will be able to learn vocal and writing techniques from each other. Members will also have opportunities to meet successful singers, musicians, and songwriters.
